The Pats schedule is loving abysmal this year, all of their "fourth place" opponents are coming off bad years you can wave away for injury or luck boxed into the #1 overall pick because Carolina are all-time historic morons etc. They'll probably be rear end on their own merits but the schedule isn't doing them any favors. 6 seems like best case scenario. Maybe they can handle one or two AFCS teams*, a couple wins because any given Sunday, a couple wins because in-division bullshit... can't add any wins for Belichick defensive wizardry anymore. And before LC says it, no, I do not think MHJ + Brissett would be the difference in beating additional teams vs Maye + random idiots. If Marvin looks great with Kyler that has zero bearing on how he would have looked on the Pats with a dramatically worse QB and OL. Basically hoping Maye looks like a competent QB they can build around for 2025 and he's not a Zach Wilson disaster you can see from several galaxies over. * We play the Colts late in the year. Who is Richardson's backup, this should be a layup *checks notes* FLACCO!!!!!!!

It's fun when, after years of being bad, you start getting (and winning) prime time games and other fans start talking up your team. But last year the Bills had almost half their games in prime time and a number of others put in the top 4pm spot and while it isn't really a big deal to cry about, you do begin to miss those simple 1pm games.

I think the afternoon Sunday games are fantastic. Whatever time that is for you guys. Normal time to play football, plenty of rest before and after, and more people watch because there are only two or three happening instead of a ton in the early slot
