Fallout 76 is bad for many reasons including taking already bad F4 shooting and adding mmo mechanics and latency jank, but it is pretty cool that you can host a private server with your friends. Also some liar goons said that with ESO you could ignore the mmo part and it played like an elder scrolls game, which was totally untrue. But 76 does actually get most of the way to being a real game despite being hamstrung by mmoness

ai will allow you to have hour long conversations with npcs about their trade. fishermen will talk about best times to fish, dangerous things they've seen, domestic issues, etc. you can learn real world skills by chatting with in-game npcs now. schools will be phased out.
