Sure those 50 ticket-free fights won't put someone from expedition stats to the current cap but they'll cover a lot of ground. * GLEX Red excluded, because sticking him in a +50% AGI position in a formation like rainbow rangers lets him dodge tank 99% of fights while slow but surely killing everything.

For what it's worth, Rei and maybe Fuse can enable easy Eastern Woods 2 clears this round - it's two monsters, both of whom are weak to ID and confuse (usually). I've been dumping Rei in a party with four newbies and doing ok.

If you have Darque or Claudia's styles they should be able to do the same. Maybe Albert too? Not sure how reliable his Instant Death is on those.

For all the hype I've seen about Deathbert he's been pretty terrible from my experience. Low int and low int modifiers means your IKs aren't hitting too often, if at all.

I got darque and I'm explicitly trying to level him to do the IK dance. You need to have insane int to be able to do guarantee it and I just dont have the stats or gear to do it yet.

mazewood claudia has an easier time because she has access to Liz's upgraded SS Water/INT bow deathbert (meaning platinum albert with udx albert's death aoe skill inherit + polka's SS Fire/INT sword) is more for aoe IK farming in story, stone caves, or events single target IK specialists like claudia, darque, death, rei will dominate in conquests

My darque got like +40 int running tigers with my blunt team so now I can guarantee unconscious in the hell mountain 3 stage with the help of one of my rocs. Luckly enough she needs grinding so its not a wasted spot. Its significantly faster than grinding the boss stage for me.

Otherwise, your top options are in the Reprint banner: These two are very strong long-term investments for difficult content: [Victory Celebration] Final Empress (damage immunity skill) [Pumpkin] Princess White Rose (stacking WIL buffs) Otherwise, [Banquet] Final Emperor is a strong AoE attacker for farming so he's good if you get him. Past that, its going to come down to damage types, and whether you have them or not. Blue is a very strong sun/heat nuker, New Years Empress is a flexible boss fighter. The other characters on both banners are all functional. The trick is to be careful with your gems: Try not to pull unless you can go all the way to 15k medals for the guaranteed pity (45k free gems), and/or there are multiple good characters on the banner. Oh, there's a thread for this game, but no one's posted in a year and half. Is the game dead and/or going to EoS? Or is it just not that exciting to talk about these days? I just learned about the game recently, so knowing if it's worth jumping in or not would be great.

I quit about a year ago, but the JP server is still doing very well to the point where it is propping up the Asia and Global servers. I just stopped playing because this game is really drat grindy by gacha game standards. They give you all the stamina you could ever need but that's in service of you levelling up characters by turning on autobattle and putting your phone down for hours at a time.

If you like old-school sprites and backgrounds and spell effects turned up a notch then this game is catnip, every new character is a weird little guy who grows on you even if the plot sucks. But yes you are committing to the fact that the primary gameplay is upgrading dudes and watching the auto-battle. Boss battles are fun but are also basically a roster check.
