American mustard is the bright yellow stuff, yes, but if you get that cheap generic stuff from Coles or Woolies it actually tastes very different to normal American yellow mustard. Classic yellow mustard in America is very vinegar-based and more tangy/savory, but some of the "American" mustard they sell here is very sugary and thus utterly wrong. Not that I can blame them for assuming American food must have tons of added sugar, but yellow mustard is one exception, and to make your food actually more sugary than Americans would want it is shameful. (Besides, we already have honey mustard if we actually want sweet mustard)

 Burger Report  The Big Huey Big Huey's Diner, South Melbourne two beef patties with Dijon mustard, housemade beetroot relish, crisp lettuce, sautéed red onion, grilled cheese, bacon and Judith’s tomato chutney. This thing was delicious. And big. I don't think the picture does it justice but that's a big burger. Two decent size patties side-by-side on a turkish roll. The Beet-root relish added some sweet freshness to counterbalance the heaviness of the meats and cheese, while the chutney/mustard combo packed a real flavour punch that wasn't overpowering. Also came with beer battered fries and a mandarin Jarritos. Sadly no bins but still enjoyed. A+++ would burg again.

at a barbecue, made a tasty fuckin burg burger with barbecue sauce, pork ribs, bacon, and pineapple. the last three ingredients were cooked together on a grill for hours and glazed with a delicious pineapple mustard glaze.
