A person who has notably complex tactics is exactly the person you need to manage a team for which he has no control over the available pool of players and limited amounts of time to work with them between games.

tbf he might do well in concacaf when you don't have to play prem teams every week but I've never seen a manager with zero clue what to do in the event that his plan A (which only works in extremely specific situations) isn't working

You might actually do alright since Jesseball relies on the other team attacking constantly and allowing themselves to be countered

Imagine a guy who has taken one lesson of krav maga asking you to attack him so he can take you down. No not like that. No attack me by putting your arm and head here. Stop blocking

In two years the Canadian National Team went from making a World Cup for the first time in ~35 years and looking like a footballing country on the rise to looking like a hilarious loving joke. It's been a hell of an impressive speedrun.

a couple notes/thoughts:
This roster has 27 players for 26 Copa slots. The most likely to not make that cut are probably Sargent (if his injury issues that he's been carrying mean he needs time off to recuperate) or another midfielder/forward (Tyler Adams if he also needs rest, Pepi to go be the man at the Olympics, Timmy Tillman as a midfielder that gets squeezed out if everyone's healthy).
The problem with wanting a replacement for Shaq Moore is that most replacements are injured (DeJuan Jones), Olympic-aged (Bryan Reynolds) and/or not integrated with the senior team. Berhalter has shown he's willing to go full sicko mode and play a midfielder
/winger at RB if he has to (and reiterated that at a press conference today) but Moore can eat minutes if he doesn't have to *and* can't play Scally for whatever reason.
I don't know if they'll beat Colombia/Brazil but I think this team should be a lot of fun to watch.

wouldn't be surprised to see weah play as a right wing back with mckennie musah or adams effectively helping cover that side
