Have you picked the architect you're having in to draw up the plans for the 12 car dual-height garage with twin 4 post lifts that you're putting in behind these existing red structures?

Personally I would suggest re-purposing the facades of the existing red shed/mini-garage to help keep that rustic country feel, and you'll be helping the environment by removing all that grass that needs mowing. 2 stroke engines are horrible for the environment and replacing every one we can with 12 to 15 sports cars is the only way we can confront the climate crisis.

Thanks, but I had practically no involvement except for oversight — it was all the man you see in the photo, along with a few other collaborators. Giselle is still not ready for inspection and a re-title, but we're getting very close now. I really need to get on a FaceTime chat with my dad to start compiling the full narrative/timeline so I can create the final thread. Current to-do items include, in no particular order:

  • new front springs (why did we think we could reuse the one that had a truck slam down on it)
  • oil pressure gauge still seems to be reading a bit low, may have to do with the new Racing Beat pump and/or the fact that this 12A engine is also a Frankenstein monster now technically on its second rebuild
  • "respray" + cut and buff, paint guys completely missed some pretty egregious spots on the repaired frame
  • new tires and then alignment (haaaaah...)
  • finding a new/replacement catback that's officially CARB-certified
  • shakedown and break-in, while hoping the car doesn't get pulverized in the meantime

But yeah, it's great to see her in one piece again, and moving under her own power!

Brown is a cool color for a sports car.

Mine was originally specced by a German, so naturally they ordered it grey, but at least the interior is blue leather.

:swoon: I wish we had those 5 wagons here. I actually think they look even better than the e39s which were my favourite looking bmws.

I had an e46 post facelift rwd 5 spd and I loved that car

So cool.

Do you press the lock cylinder to open the door while pulling on the indent?

Finally starting to get nice out. Went to see a house a friend is renovating and did cybertruck style offroading

AGM battery died a mysterious death when I got there. Luckily I keep a jumper with me so I was able to make it back home. Ordered a lithium replacement battery and trickle charger. Hope it lasts longer.

Five degrees to starboard!

I just got the Cayenne back from the body shop this afternoon after two weeks there. New front bumper cover, new front spoiler, he fixed a paint defect on the rear bumper cover, and he ground back and painted over some rust spots on the fender. The car looks fantastic. I'll have to try to not crash it again.
